The terms for using cookingacademy.qa and buying our classes. Last updated 1 November 2026.
1. About us
cookingacademy.qa is run by The Cooking Academy W.L.L. (commercial registration no. 115771), Building 30, Street 978, Zone 31, Doha, State of Qatar. By creating an account or buying on this website you agree to these terms, our Refund & cancellation policy and our Privacy policy.
2. Your account
You must be 18 or older to buy. Younger cooks can use the site with a parent or guardian who accepts these terms and supervises them in the kitchen. Please give accurate details and keep your password private. An account is for one person; sharing a login or a purchase is not allowed.
3. What you buy
Video classes, the Recipe Book and the All Access pass are digital products. You get lifetime access to what you bought as soon as payment is confirmed, on any device. We add and update classes over time; if we ever have to retire a class you bought, we will offer you another class or a refund. In-person classes and live workshops have the date, place and details shown on their page.
4. Prices and payment
- Online prices are shown in US dollars and include any applicable taxes. Your bank may add currency conversion or foreign transaction fees.
- Payments are processed by MyFatoorah. We never see or store your card number.
- Qatar debit cards are paid with the QPay (NAPS) option at checkout.
- You receive an email receipt for every payment.
- Every purchase is a one-time payment. Nothing renews and nothing is charged again automatically.
5. Using our content
Classes, recipes, photos and videos are for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not download, record, copy, resell, share publicly or teach from them commercially without our written permission.
6. AI Chef
- AI Chef suggests recipes and classes using artificial intelligence. Its answers can be wrong, so always check ingredients and steps yourself.
- Calorie and nutrition figures are estimates for guidance only, not medical or dietary advice.
- AI Chef may link to free content on other websites, such as YouTube. That content is not ours and we are not responsible for it.
- AI Chef has daily use limits, which depend on your account.
7. Allergies and kitchen safety
Check every recipe for allergens and follow safe food handling. Cooking involves heat, knives and appliances: you cook at your own risk, and children should always be supervised. For an in-person class, tell us about any allergy before the class.
8. Suspension
We may suspend or close an account that shares logins, copies content, misuses AI Chef or the site, or makes fraudulent payments. If we close an account without any fault on your side, we will refund your purchases.
9. Liability
We work to keep the site available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. As far as the law of Qatar allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Qatar's consumer protection law.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. The new version will be posted on this page with its date, and important changes will also be emailed to customers. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and the courts of Doha have jurisdiction.
